Perhaps what best made me delve into nanotechnology was this bit of info....
"In the near future when u order a benz or a bmw, you are gonna get a packet of seeds. You can then go into your backyard and sow them. Within a week or two , you get your dream car ready right in your own backyard..."

Or scratch the paint on your can and watch them regrow right back!

I can never call that a fantasy anymore.. We humans grew up into such complex beings right from a single cell!! Protiens and stem cells guided by the instructions in DNA, built us from materials available from our mothers blood. Compared to a human being, a benz car would be coparable to a piece of brick!!
